| ______________________________________ [Feb 21,2010 8:50pm - the_reverend ""] livver started out sounded like older coalesce, but then got into something sounding more like the harder starkweather parts from the on the wire album. definitely reminded me of the 90's when hardcore/new-metalcore was all crossed up. towards the end, there was even something a little motorhead in there. bruce's vocals are more of a dry shouting/scream that reminds me of the ookla the mok vocals. they played the set almost straight through, increasing the room temperature by 15 degrees. easily. |

Regardless of the fact, they absolutely killed like always. That's a band that never fails me. I cut out after that because it's a work night and I didn't think it'd be worth it to sit through Misery Index and stay late. So to Ramming Speed, my apologies, I'll catch you guys another time, but will say again you guys did kick ass in Raleigh back in October... |
