My only complaint is that Encoffination should have had guitar on both sides of the stage. Just because there is only two guys in the band doesnt mean you have to have sound on just one side of the stage. On the walk to the truck I got to see two guys get their head kicked in by an angry mob which was a good capper to the night. |

How about that finishing blast beat? CHAAOOOSS Cruciamentum were the biggest surprise for me. Never heard of them before. Prosanctus, Grave Miasma, Father Befouled, and Evoken were all fantastic. Encoffination had potential, but they needed another stack to fill out the sound. The rest ranged from decent to boring, for me. Great show. Will do again. Probably the best part of my day was finding an Elf LP autographed by Ronnie James Dio in a random Brooklyn record store. |
