SUCKERS. I saw that Serge! 3 bouncers & they still couldn't handle him. They had to take him down! Fuckin security sucked balls! As soon as a pit opened up, they got scared and would break it up right away. They tossed a ton of people for no reason. Sexcrement fuckin kicked ass last night!!! C.D. too!! Sick show!! |

______________________________________ [Jun 3,2006 11:37pm - the_reverend ""] cryptopsy: they took a pretty long time to set up, but what ever. This is the 5th tie I've seen them since lord worm's come back into the fold. I can understand that some persons make fun of his vocals on the older stuff. At the time they weren't "funny". that's just how they were and now, they are classic. that's how the songs are suppose to sound. The first few none so vile times are past so they now play stuff from all over their catalog. Even off "and then you'll beg" (my least favorite cryptopsy CD), but Mr Worm (who was noticibly with out worms today) puts a nice spin on those tracks. In the end of their set they were going to play a track off blasphemy made flesh, but then found out they only had time for "1" last song (the sound guy said 2 over the PA). So they scrapped blasphemy and went to none so vile. Lord Worm asked "you know what song this is?" I almost yelled "phobophile" and then the pianos started (not much of a surprise cause they play a clip during sound check). The crowd raised up their horns. As the music kicked in, people on the floor began to move a little. pretty much just headbanging.I look up and saw 2 guys get pulled out and thrown to the ground. A bunch of security guys had them down. I'm not positive what happpend to them after that so I'll let someone who say recount (i heard about a cop outside), but one of them was serge and he was just headbanging when they pulled him out of the crowd. That was the song that cryptopsy ended with. I think they might have played another song if people didn't turn away from the stage right away. and start getting tossed out. Oh well. I hope serge is ok. but I've seen that kid take spin kicks to the side of the head and a saw to the top of his head , never even slowing down his head banging so I'm sure he was fine. I think it's going to get harder for bands to sell tickets if they are allowed to mosh or even headbang in a venue that allows "MOSH AT YOUR OWN RISK" |

Sorry if you got tossed out.......... We'll have the security issue taken care of next time!! |

________________________________________________ [Jun 4,2006 10:07pm - mark fucking richards ""] here's my review... slayed innocence-didn't belong on the show, not my bag like the rev said. boring pseudo-metalcore, if that's the right terminology for it. zircon-fucking awesome. i've grown out of most black metal the past 2 or 3 years, but these guys keep my attention. lots of groove, which a lot of BM doesn't have or don't succeed at. i'll be looking forward to playing with them again sexcrement-this was probably the greatest show we've had yet. only a few small things went wrong, rather than knee caps blowing out or electricity being shot for over an hour, haha. the sound was sick, and the crowd made it even more worth the while. sucks that the security guards were assholes, but oh well. it seemed like there was too much going on for them to take everyone out. downfall-1st time seeing and hearing; definitely an awesome band. reminds me of beneath the remains-era sepultura with a little more death metal. thanks to ruben (sp?) for letting us use the cabs!!! we'll definitely have to play some more shows together in the future. CSDO-to be perfectly honest, i don't see why people bash them so much as far as their sound goes. the vocals are an acquired taste; i'm not sure how much i like them. this was my first time really paying attention to them, so i'll have to hear more to formulate a solid opinion cattle decapitation-awesome, especially with the new drummer. i think they have some of the best merchandise i've ever seen. too bad i'm not vegan or vegetarian, otherwise it would appeal to me even more, haha cryptopsy-awesome to see them back with lord worm. the new guitarist is sick, but makes the most ridiculous faces i've ever seen, haha. the sound guy totally destroyed their sound. the bass drum sounded like shit for the first few songs, then got good. then he fucked it up again. my friend mitch got kicked out during the 1st fucking song, and just for headbanging/pumping his fist too much! bullshit! overall, the fun level dwindled towards the end with security getting their panties in a bustle. i hope people go so absolutely apeshit at the skinless show on august 11th that the guards get pummelled. thumbs down! |

CHEERS TO ALL AND HORNS UP MOTHER FUCKERS.. |
____________________________________ [Jun 5,2006 12:06pm - anonymous ""] People need to politely e-mail/message New England Concerts and/or Bernie about the TNT security issue. Show-goers are already starting to boycott Mark's Show Place because of the nazi-like security. Kids can't even stand in their own space and headbang without either being kicked out or closely watched. Before you know it these shows will dwindle down in attendance because of the bad rep. There's a huge difference between kicking people for fighting inside the club and someone who's just trying to have a good time. http://www.myspace.com/neconcerts BernieJGoulet@aol.com |
_________________________________________ [Jun 5,2006 12:23pm - kellthevalkyrie ""] This show was a good time. Good time at good times. Wee! When I first got to the show I was impressed with the sound but as time went on it seemed to go through a few crappy phases. The moshing/security situation was a bit much. I saw a lot of good people and had a blast. And everything after the tequilla shot is a little fuzzy... |

I just calmly sent Bernie a message, in regards to the Skinless/Sexcrement show which will no doubt yield a violent crowd. What's a Skinless show without dancing? People, if you were directly affected by the ejections on Saturday night or at any pervious NE Concerts show, now is a great time to take the time to express your frustrations. |
____________________________________ [Jun 6,2006 12:14am - anonymous ""] This is Bernie.... TNT SECURITY HAS NOW BEEN FIRED DUE TO ALL THE COMPLAINTS... we are looking at other security companies like Wizard for future shows after this weekend... i dont think Marks will allow moshing still... but at least they will be able to handle things differently... |
