What Lucas did is take traditional Medival elements (knights, princess, chivalry) and combine them in a psuedo-scifi environment that takes place in the PAST, in a galaxy far far away. Pure genius. Too bad the new Star Wars movie (specifically the 1st and 2nd) seemed more orientated at a younger audience. Star Wars is way more fantasy than sci-fi. |
