Financial problems - goodbye![views:2166][posts:17]______________________________________ [Sep 1,2004 1:14pm - Joe/NotCommon ""] Today I consolidated my loans and got a credit card. The interest rate is high, but I get 6 months interest free. With fewer and smaller monthly payments now, I can regain a good credit score, and hopefully before 6 months is up, transfer that balance to a better card with a lower (and maybe fixed) interest rate. Plus my friend might get me a second part time job at Tower Records. Fuck yes! |

___________________________________ [Sep 1,2004 1:58pm - MyDeadDoll ""] try for a discover card, i have low low intesrest rates on there. they gave me like a year with no interest and then 7.9% after that. plus, when i transfer balances over, i pay no interst on them at all. |
________________________________ [Sep 1,2004 2:03pm - Siberia ""] 7.9%? That's almost unheard of. I thought my 9% was good (it's a visa). I hate credit cards though, I hate credit period. |
_____________________________________ [Sep 1,2004 2:08pm - the_reverend ""] I still have never owned a credit card. |
___________________________________ [Sep 1,2004 2:11pm - MyDeadDoll ""] i have really good credit i guess. i've already paif off the first car i had an i'm doing good on the new car i bought almost a year ago. i think that has a lot to do with it. i'm only paying like 3% on my car. |

Fuck yes! not really, with fewer and smaller monthly payments you will end up paying a lot more, especially since you are paying a higher interest, if you can't pay your debts within 6 months you lose:bartmoon: |

At this point in my life I want smaller monthly payments. The Credit card may not be payed off in 6 months, but will come close, and then if I transfer it to a lower interest card, then I won't be paying more. What you said makes no sense, obviously you didn't read anything I wrote. |
