alright, who know what order the floyd rose saddles go in. They are numbered on back with 1's 2's and 3's.

1 = what two strings?
2 = what two strings?
3 = what two strings?

hmm..never heard of the #s on em, but if theyre new saddles, theyre all the same..if theyre old, youd prolly have to look at the wear on them and try to match the string gauge. are they the whole saddles? or just the blocks?

they are the whole saddle. Different strings need different saddles. For instance, both the e strings have the same kind saddle, b and a have the same kind, and ones for g and d. I just need to figure out which ones are for what.

hmm thats news to me...all floyd saddles are the same.
unless you have an edge pro or something, I cant imagine why any saddles would be different, besides the obvious intonation...but im looking at mine right now, and theyre all the same.
dunno what to tell ya...what floyd is it? a real floyd? jackson copy?

its a floyd original. They all look the same but they are different. I didn't know that untill today. When I was looking at ordering new ones, you have to order them by what string it is you are replacing it on. None of the sites tell you how to tell which ones are which though. I was gonna buy new ones but decided I didn't have the money but while I was looking on this site I had learned that different saddles belong on different strings. I had not known this before and I have taken my bridge apart in the past so I know that some of them have to be in the wrong place. My bridge is currently apart right now so I figured that it would be a good chance to put them in their right places.

al is right, i'm thinking 1 goes on both E strings

2 goes on 2 and 5

3 goes on 3 and 4

I think it might be the other way around but am not sure. I've been looking on sites for over an hour trying to find out.

powerkok - I think only floyd originals have it this way.

Every liscences floyd system has different fine adjustment rods and saddles, some use numbers, some don't.
since each model is luiscensed under a different company, each company can use different numbers, even original floyds wich are made in different parts of the world will vary, you need the specific serrial number and I can figure it out for you.
