Amazing night with Amazing turn out. there were so many people at this show. I want someone to pist and offical count. I think that this should harken a new wednesday night thing at the muddy... take portsmouth back old school style. (WF E-rom.. rip!) over the top: this is rob g's (bordersauce) new band that he's been talking about and is drumming for. matt lacasse (ex-every band) guitar, giesel (ex-STF & ELA) bass, ryan deckah (ex-no bands) guitah, and a singer that I don't think I really know. I thought that my description would piss people off becuase they most-sound like Intergrity (circa rise one of my favorite cds) with hard-double base. they played 4 songs (about a 20 minute set). they jumped a lot, but I didn't know the music so I couldn't anticipate jumps, missing a lot. the network: sorry to pete for blinding him. they were all over the place as usual. I didn't recognize the first song.. but the rest I knew. It had been a long time since I last saw them. since their flood. at the end, pete dives out into the audience and then backover the monitors, sort of landing on them. one of them fell off. the sound guy yelled at him about that. mercury switch: lot's of kids seemed to be there just to see mercury switch. they were in front singing during their set. i always love seening these guys live. Singing a long to the clean parts makes me feel sensitive. After listening to the new underoath cd, I think they should have gone to at least one MS show to see how they should have made their new CD. anyhow, they ended with tonight tonight per usual. all the songs were either from the demo or the cd. I don't have any clue if they are writing new stuff. backstabbers inc: so home town heros or something, playing their hometown? amazing. they had two guitar players too. this time, second guitar was played by that guy from providence. also, the obviously now have a drummer. he sounded pretty tight. I think they've only been practicing together for 1 month. what's a show at the muddy river with out the sound guy kicking someone out dramatically? so ryan (bsi singer) steps on the monitors and then falls on the floor. Some kid form the audience "tattles" to the sound guy, point ryan out as he's singing. the sound guys like tapping on him while he's singing... a minute later, between the third to last and the second to last song the sound guy is all in ryan's face yelling 'I told you to stay off them" ryan was saying something like "I got it" and the sound guy didn't stop so kev from the network got in between them and starts yelling at the tattler that he's a little bitch, he's a little girl, stuff like that. finally the sound guy or the promoter says "play your set, but I want HIM out" and they escourt kev from the network out.
