I'm waiting for Urban Terror to finish porting UrT to Enemy Territory. I tried ET on my laptop here and it couldn't handle it well. I'm sure I'll try it on my home pc eventually one UrT comes out on it.

RTCW MP was awesome and ET is pretty much the same thing, plus it's free. Unfortunatly I was just losing interest in RTCW MP right when ET came out so I never really got into it. I need an excuse to start playing again. But playing with strangers or clans full of 12 year olds is no fun.

yup
that's part if the reason why they are porting it over to ET, so people can just dowload ET and UT and be off with no cdkey to deal with.

the original UT was kind of fun. q3a was more fun though I thought. UT 2003/2004 I can't get into. I actually think the q3a graphics are better for some reason. and original UT gameplay is more fun I think. beats me.

I miss it too... I've been in trey's sailor scouts clan for a while, even before that I use to play with them all the time. We're definetly not a very active clan anymore.
During that time I joined another Q3A instagib clan called [TAGA], we actually had practices a few times a week and had a bunch of OGL matches. I miss that shit, but it was a lot of work, for just a game :spineyes: goodbye college!

cool. yeah that whole clan stuff was a little much for me. the only way I can picture myself getting back into that stuff is in a LAN situation. Actually being able to talk to the person I'm playing with/against and knowing who it is.

yeah I hear ya, but it's suprising how well you can get to know someone online when you need to work together. It's really wierd.
