[/QUOTE] A green card is not something you get in the interim, it's only in the interim if you want to become a US citizen (which I don't), you can live all your life in the US with a green card (renewable every 10 years) without becoming a US citizen. You need both to travel especially if oyu go overseas. I'll use my passport to go through the custom in Europe (EC line) and back to the US I'll have to present both to the cops cause I go through the US citizen line. I actually rather lose my green card than my passport, the green card is easier and faster to get back than my passport, it really is. [/QUOTE]
