Weird, maybe there was a different guy in the pilot... IMDB credits Martin w/the role, with the exception of this:

"The Stakeout" Episode: #1.2 - 31 May 1990
Philip Bruns .... Morty Seinfeld

And by 2.2 ("The Pony Remark") it was definitely Martin.

Maybe AOL news doesn't know about IMDB haha...
