I was pretty tired and almost wasn't up for going to this show even though I had a ticket. I went anyways! It was a bitch trying to find a parking spot, somerville sucks ass. I got to my seat which was orchestral left the back row sitting right next to the aisle. I lucked out on my seat because the dude next to me and the guy to my left in front of me had a huge pillar in front of them which supports mezzanine. I could see the entire stage luckily. Sat down at like 8:10 and watched that pretty horrible band 'Tunnels'. I didn't mind the drummer/bass combo, but that guy with the mallet's who changed the effects every 3 seconds was obnoxious and I wanted to walk up on stage and push all his shit over. PT finally came on around 9:30 or so. Played a lot of good shit, the guitars could have been a bit louder. Good times. Overall I prefferred the Berklee Theater over this one, it was more comfortable, and was completely pitch black so all you could see was the stage. The sound was also light years better there. Plus having opeth as an opener was awesome as hell. Oh well though, this was still good.
