RustedAngel said:
good luck finding someone to lay down vocal tracks for this, don't them do it if they suck completely! Give us specs on what gear/software you used to record this.....wooooord!
I'm going to be handling the vocals myself for the most part. I got Chris from Encrimson'd to agree to lay down some of his classic peasant yells, and I'll be doing all the clean stuff. I love blind guardian, helloween, and savatage, so that should give you an idea what they'll sound like. Specs: Tracking + Mixing: Sonar 4.1 Mastering: Soundforge 7 Drums: Drumkit from Hell 2 Guitars: Line 6 guitarport (2.5), I use the soldano head exclusively, the rest sound like junk. Effects: The sonitus eq's and compression that comes with Sonar, and the PSP vintage warmer. If you only have $100 to spend, get the PSP. It's fucking amazing, makes whatever you pump through it sound more warm and analogue. Bass: I have a BassPod, but I actually just ran this through the guitarport and put the vintage warmer on it.
