i'm not really an enclitic memeber, but i did their website and i was on the tour when everything went down. i'm sure i dont have all the details, eben may fill in the missing parts, but this is what i know...
before the tour, brian, the singer, expressed feelings of not being sure if he still wanted to do the music thing. the tour started regardless of those feelings and the ny show was played. while on the way to kentucky, a ton of shitty things happened. the van broke down, small arguments occured, people had different feelings on different issues, it was hot, we were in the middle of no where, things looked downhill.
we got AAA to drive us the rest of the way to kentucky for $100 with the help of some parental AAA. the show was played in kentucky and it was great, but after the show was when shit started to smack the ground which made an awful "plop/smack" sound.
we were going to stay at some strange girl's house and some people didnt really want to. i really didnt want to myself, but i also really didnt care that much.
when we all got there, brian was just kinda fed up with some things and decided he was quitting the band and he was going to leave with his girlfriend to go back to home. i feel Brian's reasons for leaving were valid, although it would have been preist if he finished the tour...but who am i to say anything. he is a good kid and i dont think what he did was very jerky.
so the rest of us spent many days trying to get back. 3 of those days left us stuck at a holiday inn express with a broken van in the middle of no where.
we got home after spending a night in ny and getting a new singer was on their minds. the old singer of iranach was looking good for the enclitic, but that never happened. jeff, the drummer, decided that he wants to save up money and go on with his acting career and i guess, from what i heard, kevin just kinda said "forget it".
thus the end of the enclitic.
