Its been since 1991 that Slayer had a worthy opener who actually FIT the bill. Its sad, but they obviously dont care. Whatever....I just show up really late now for all their gigs. I'm used to it. I dont even expect them to bring anybody good anymore, so its no big deal. Its less time that I have to spend in a room with a bunch of assclowns. Even for those who think some Children of Bodom stuff is a little cheesy, in my opinion, Alexi Laiho's guitarwork totally makes it worthwhile. A few parts that Lamb of God does are cool, most of their stuff I was kind of disappointed with though, and the other band I don't know, but Slayer + Bodom + Mastodon = Good Show. Though I don't know if I want to drive over two hours to Lowell AND pay $51, I hope this is coming somewhere closer to CT. |
