To do this, the Republicans have to lose Congress, and until we get a little closer to that, this process is a bit premature, although well-intentioned. I think it could happen, as there's enough evidence to do it, and like the article said, more Americans support impeachment than approve of the President - but there's more long-term political sense in supporting censure, letting Bush's ratings sink even lower and cement even further, then pushing hard for impeachment. |
