Graduations are the worst. No one even heard my name called at my high school graduation. The cheers for the black girl in front of me (I went to Brockton High) were deafening, and went on for so long that it drowned out my name almost completely. I took my diploma and wouldn't shake anyone's hand. Then when I graduated college they announced me as "Michelle Shea". I refused to move until they corrected my name. The commotion it caused woke everyone up though, and I finally got an actual round of applause. Still, I would have been better off sleeping in that day. 3. Most people do goto school just for a peice of paper. That's why they do so shitty in life. That's why there are college graduates who can't do math in their head, have 5th grade vocabularys, and are satisfied with using their degree in Philosophy to be a babysitter for the rest of their life. 4. my band can't play this show, so i'm going to another show. |
