Lee's voice was the same, if not higher, on the new tracks they did live. Mike played well with them. I think he might have been a little too loud, but that's it. They got the first band treatment and no one danced for them. everyday hate: really short set, but not bad at all. they played a bunch of songs, but the songs were all fairly short themselves. A few people ran around the pit punching people for them. for a band that I've never heard or heard of, they were pretty good and sounded fairly tight. |

Their set instantly sent people running around the room. This was the first time tonight that the firedoor was knocked open. They even had a circle pit. Shere Khan : they fought over who would don the shere khan tiger outfit. I guess it had been left in the rain. then, they refused to play until brophy stumbled up. When they started playing, you could feel people slamming together. SK has a very loyal following of people who sing along and punch people for their entire set. That's basically what it was all about. |

Even though it was said that they were only playing new songs, they only played 3 new songs. Somehow people were singing along to them. I have a feeling they were just saying "rarararararara" or something. this show is sandwiched right between the recording and ozzfest. The other songs were ones off the last CD. their set was seriously fun. No bullshit talkers complaining about them selling out or whatever. This was just like unearth circa 2000 where they could play small clubs and just enjoy themselves. |
