CaptainCleanoff said:
HailTheLeaf said:
from http://www.alternet.org/story/39439/ "As the humanitarian crisis worsens by the hour, many Lebanese are angry at Hezbollah -- but they're even angrier at Israel. Last Thursday Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora told reporters that his country has been torn to shreds. "Can the international community stand by while such callous retribution by the state of Israel is inflicted on us?" Siniora also accused Israel of massacring Lebanese civilians and attempting to destroy everything that allows the country to stay alive. The facts on the ground add credence to his remarks. The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen by the hour, with close to a million Lebanese displaced. Officials say at least 64 bridges have been bombed. Many roads are cut by the bombing, and this is hindering transportation of food and aid supplies. Other Israeli targets have included the country's largest milk factory, a food factory, two pharmaceutical plants, water treatment centres, power plants, grain silos, a Greek Orthodox Church, hospitals and an ambulance convoy."
BTW, I do not care for either side, but just so I know. I guess the little Jew girl that got killed by the hezbo's firing rockets with no intended target dying today means nothing to you, right? Just curious. You always seem to defend the arabs to the point of it being sick.
I'd defend any people who happen to be getting bombed for no reason right now, people who don't want to be involved, people who are dying because of what their government or other governments do. Whether they are Arab or Jewish isn't a concern for me since I don't believe in imaginary men in the sky. I've focused on the Lebanese in this particular post because the nation of Israel happens to be bombing the shit out of innocent people there with weapons that were provided by the country I reside in. It's a bit of an overreaction I think. Hezbollah firing rockets into Israel and killing innocent people makes them no better or worse. Both are engaging in terrorism, and killing civilains, only one is funded by my tax dollars. Your assumption that I wouldn't care about a little Jewish girl being blown up is both immature and retarded.
