Some events are mandatory because they have a great lineup that just can't be beat. But in general the wealth of shows does split the crowds, I've seen many shows where just having 20-30 more people would make all the difference. Everyone has a right to play though, and everyone wants to play and book shows, so nothing can really be done about this. It'll balance out again one day when the metal popularity dies down like it did in the 90s.[/QUOTE]
