It's a V8 (LS1, the 350) that runs on only 4 cylinders when driving normally to save gas mileage, but when you need some aggressive driving, the other four cylinders kick in, adding a lot more power and torque. They're in the new Impalas and a few other cars, and they will be in the new Camaro SS when it comes out.[/QUOTE]
