Ozzfest Free Ticket Distribution Message OZZFEST 2007 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: I’ve heard I need a code to be able to get tickets to Ozzfest. How do I get a code? A: Codes are available online only at Livenation.com/ozzfest Codes are also available offline as a bonus when you purchase a specially marked Monster Energy 4-pack, an FYE “Backstage Pass,” or specially marked copies of Ozzy’s new CD “Black Rain.” Q: How many tickets can I get? A: Each valid code will be redeemable for up to two tickets while supplies last. Having a code does not guarantee you tickets to an Ozzfest 2007 show. In order to receive a code, you must have a valid email address. So code + email address = up to two tickets. Q: So if I have two codes can I get four tickets? A: No. Once your email address has been entered you will not be able to register additional codes. Q: Okay, now I’ve got my code. How do I get tickets? A: Beginning on June 12, Ozzfest dates will begin to be available for ticket download. Go to livenation.com/ozzfest, select your date, click on “Redeem Code” and enter your code. From there, you will be prompted to download and print your tickets. Check Ozzfest.com or livenation.com/ozzfest to find out the exact date and time that your show will be available for ticket download. Please note, if you got a code from a pack of Monster, tickets must be redeemed through www.monsterenergy.com. Q: I’ve already got my code. Why do I need to print tickets? A: If you don’t have a ticket you will not be admitted to an Ozzfest 2007 event. Your code is not valid for entry into the venue. Q: I received a code on a flyer at a club show. How do I redeem it? A: You will be able to redeem your code at LiveNation.com beginning on June 12. Go to livenation.com/ozzfest, select your date, click on “Redeem Code” and enter your code. From there, you will be prompted to download and print your tickets. Check Ozzfest.com or livenation.com/ozzfest to find out the exact time that your show will be available for ticket download. Q: I received a code on a pack of Monster. How do I redeem it? A: Tickets from Monster must be redeemed through www.monsterenergy.com. Q: HELP! I’ve deleted / lost my code and the system won't let me register to get a new code! Can you send me my original code? If not, how can I register to get a new code? A: You don’t need a new code. If you received your code online, simply type in your email address under the Get Code section, and a message will display telling you that your email address has already received a code and that a courtesy reminder with your original code will be sent to your in-box. Remember, each valid email address can only obtain ONE valid code so you won’t be able to register for another code, and your code can only be redeemed one time. Q: I don’t have a printer!! What can I do? A: Upon completing the steps for downloading your ticket(s) you will receive an email confirming your successful download with instructions for printing your tickets later if need be. If you don’t have a printer at home, you can go to a friend’s house, your school, a library, or a place like Kinko’s to print your tickets. Q: I’ve heard that all the tickets are general admission. Is that true? A: No, both reserved and general admission tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Q: Can I choose reserved or lawn seats? A: Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis with reserved seats being distributed first. Once the reserved seats are gone, lawn seats will automatically be delivered. Q: Why do I have to wait to print my tickets? A: We want everyone to have an equal chance to get tickets, so we are allowing four weeks for people to get codes and get prepared to download their tickets. Q: Does having a code = having a ticket? A: Not necessarily. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until the entire capacity of the venue is exhausted. It's in a fan's best interest to act quickly when tickets become available. Ticket distribution will begin on June 12, 2007 – check www.livenation.com/ozzfest for updates on local ticket distribution times. While having a code does not guarantee a ticket, having a ticket is the only way to get into Ozzfest 2007 and you can’t get a free ticket without a code. Fans can’t bring codes to the concert and expect to get in. Q: Can I get reserved seats? A: Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Your best chance for getting reserved tickets is to be among the first fans to log on and download your tickets when your show becomes available – ticket distribution begins on June 12. However, if you get lawn tickets, each of the Ozzfest sponsors will have a limited number of reserved seats available for exchange in special sponsor sections at each Ozzfest show on show day. Q: Should I expect that I will have to pay a “service fee” or parking when I go on line to get my tickets? A: There are no service fees associated with the free Ozzfest tickets. You will be given the option to purchase premium parking in advance at the download site, but you are not required to buy parking in advance. There will be a per car charge for parking at the venue sites, however. Q: Will we have to give a credit card number in order to get our free tickets? A: No, absolutely not! Be sure to get your codes and tickets ONLY through the sponsor offers and sites, ozzfest.com or LiveNation.com/ozzfest. Q: Will Party Like a Rockstar (PLARS) be available this year? A: Yes! In fact, both Party Like a Rockstar and the Platinum packages are available for purchase this year along with a new program: I’m Part of the Show. Look on ozzfest.com for more information about these VIP programs and how to purchase them. Q: When we log on for our codes or our tickets, will we have to register for sponsor stuff? A: No. Q: Will there be a big hike in food, drink, and merchandise prices? A: No. Prices will be consistent with what you’ve seen in the past or at other concert events. Q: The websites say that I have to pay for parking. Parking is usually free at this concert site. What gives? A: Parking actually isn’t free - the cost of parking is included in the cost of a ticket. Because the tickets to Ozzfest are free, there will be a per car charge for parking. Q: Ticket brokers have tickets on sale for $100. What’s up with that? A: Well, on one hand, that’s called free enterprise. On the other, it’s called scalping. However, ANYONE who claims to have an Ozzfest 2007 ticket prior to the start of ticket distribution is not telling the truth. Absolutely no tickets to Ozzfest 2007 have been issued and none will be issued prior to June. Q: I really wanted reserved seats but when I downloaded my tickets, I got lawn. Is there any way I can get reserved seats? A: Each of the Ozzfest sponsors will be exchanging lawn seats for reserved seats in special sponsor sections at each Ozzfest show. Quantities of these exchange seats are limited. Visit the sponsor booths at Ozzfest for an opportunity to exchange yours. Q: I’ve downloaded my tickets but now I can’t go to Ozzfest. Can I give my tickets to someone else? A: You can give your tickets to someone else but you cannot sell them or copy them. Q: I’d like to go to more than one Ozzfest. How can I get tickets to more than one show? A: Because we want to make sure that everyone has a chance to see Ozzfest, your codes are only good for one show. Q: There are three people in my family, so how do I get a ticket for each of us so that we can sit together? If we redeem separately, we may not be seated together. A: In order to ensure that as many people as possible have a chance to see Ozzfest 2007 for free, we must limit each ticket download to a maximum of two tickets. If you want to sit at the show with three or more people, then the best bet will be to enjoy the show from the lawn area of each venue which offers general admission seating. Q: My spouse and I have our tickets and my son has his from a different order. What do we do with the fourth ticket? Do we return it at the sponsor’s tables? I don’t want it to go to waste. A. When downloading tickets you will be given the option of selecting one or two tickets in each order. We kindly request that, if you have no intention of using four tickets, you only download three tickets. Q: I need wheelchair/accessible seating for Ozzfest. How do I request this? A: When ticket redemption starts each ticketing page will have a link to request accessible seats. Just like all other tickets for Ozzfest, you must have a valid code to redeem for accessible seating. Additionally, accessible seat orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Q: I lost my printed tickets and deleted my ticket confirmation sheet. How do I get replacement tickets? A: Contact customer service at livenation@custhelp.com or by calling 800-431-3462 Monday thru Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT. Provide as much information as you can about your order (customer name, email address used for ticket download, venue that you downloaded tickets for, etc.) so that we locate your order and we will provide assistance. Q: Why aren’t you making tickets available to people without a computer? You have to have a computer to get a code? A: Customers without a computer can get codes by picking up a specially marked four-pack of Monster Energy Drink, visiting their local FYE, or attending Jager Music events. Also, customers can access the code distribution and ticket download website from a computer at a public library. Once you have your code, you can mail it along with a self addressed stamped envelope to Ozzfest Ticket Redemption, Post Office Box 1090, Crozet, VA, 22932. The code may be mailed to the redemption center at any time after code distribution begins, and will be time/date stamped based upon date of receipt. Tickets will not be printed until June 12 and orders will be filled based on order of receipt while supplies last. Q: Why can’t I just photocopy my friend’s tickets? A: For the same reason that you can’t photocopy any concert ticket - every ticket will have a unique bar code. If a customer does print or photocopy the same ticket multiple times and attempts to gain access into the venue, the first customer in with that ticket will be allowed in and all other customers with that ticket will be turned away. Q: What happens if the bar code on the paper ticket gets smeared in the rain or damaged? A: Each ticket will also contain the ticket serial number, which can be manually keyed into the scanner if the bar code is damaged and is no longer readable by the scanner. Q: Is there going to be customer service for fans who may need help with the ticket process? A: The customer service call center is staffed between 10am and 5pm EST, Monday through Saturday, which can be reached at (800) 431-3462. There is also a customer service email address (livenation@custhelp.com). You can also access additional FAQ’s anytime at www.livenation.com/help. Q: What’s the Day of Show schedule like? When do doors open? A: Doors will open at noon each day. Music on the Jagermeister second stage will begin about 30 minutes later and will continue until about 6:30 p.m. At that point, there will be a brief intermission before music begins on the Monster Energy main stage. Q: Is Ozzy playing at all Ozzfest events this year? A: Yes, Ozzy will play at all events. Q: Is Ozzy playing on the second stage again? A. No, Ozzy will be headlining the main stage. REMEMBER, YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET TO GET IN TO OZZFEST. Got questions? Check the Ozzfest Ticketing F.A.Q.
