That, combined with regular maintenance can cost around $1000 at the 90,000 mile marker. If you drive a standard, you're looking at even more. |

| ______________________________________________ [Jun 19,2007 11:08am - MarkFuckingRichards ""] usually i just get a brochure that shows all of the maintenance/checks that they do on those tune ups, show them to my dad who's been a mechanic since the age of 6, and he tells me what stuff i actually need from the list. after that, i take my car to a small auto place and get everything done for 1/4 of the cost most of the time seriously, if you look through those little brochures that detail what they do, more than half of it is "check fluids, check brakes, check tire pressure, check belts, blah blah blah," which are all things that should be checked anyway at a regular oil change. |

'Course, now I gotta find some new wheels. Yecch. |
