My only electric guitar for about 15 years was an old Les Paul. For the style of music I'm into, it was the worst possible guitar. It's too hard to learn how to play fast technical shit on a Paul. Once you learn how to play however, it's easy to take it back over to the Paul. So after I had my Jackson and Ravenwest for a month or two I found myself picking up the Les Paul a lot.
