So: I tried to take my step-son off of my health insurance because he got approved for mass health, this was back in march. And i had to prove my dependants were really my dependants for Aug15th of this year or they would be dropped. So i got my marriage certificate, and saw that they wanted me to prove my stepson was actually my wife's kid so he could keep health insurance. Which obviously threw up some red flags, he wasnt supposed to still be on my coverage. So i tried to call about it and this fucking total duchebag tried to tell me "You did it wrong" something about nonqualified status changes and the such.. now, i have had a bunch o problems with my insurance, so i know exactely what a "Qualified Status change" is. None the less, he tried to bully me into dropping my complaint telling me that he wasnt dropped from the insurance because of my mistake in how i tried to drop him. He also said that his memory was great and he didnt have to go back and listen to those tapes of the phone calls (they record every one) because he knew what was said. I argued that they owed me about 2000$ and i wasnt going to stop fighting till i got it back. So after filing 3 complaints, calling my hr department, and witting two letters threatening to get my lawyer involved if i wasn't either reimbursed, or given the chance to listen to those tapes, i finally am getting my money back. all of it. all 2000$
