[band=wargasm]: I was secretly bitching about how late they were going on. Midnight! Arg!!! Most of the time in between the different bands looked long on paper, but with all the people there were there to talk to, it went by wicked fast. Then wargasm hit the stage and the room was packed. People went crazy. I was just trying to stay out of video's way while getting shots. It sort of didn't even hit me that the show was happening until 10 minutes in when I heard Bob belt out "Knee deep in blood!". Once that graced the stage, imho, the stage was set. People raged. Even though it was basically known that they would be doing all Why Play Around?, people seemed to be surprised over and over about the songs that they were playing. ALL WPA people means ALL OF THE RECORD WHY PLAY AROUND?. 'nuff said. after so many years not together (then playing the show in 2004), this was definitely the better of their sets. More energy, More slamming, and More people getting booted. That's how you know it's a good show at the middle east. Don't count the number of people through the door coming in, but the number of people tossed out the door. like miss larissa. I hope that the show in RI re-lives the 80's and is a slam-pit heaven just for one night.
