Anyone know where to sell off old 16 mm movies?[views:2964][posts:10]__________________________________ [Nov 16,2008 8:59pm - Dankill ""] My buddy's parents just moved to Florida and were going to have an estate sale for whatever was left over at their house. Before that, however, they told their son that if anyone wanted to take stuff beforehand, they were free to come by the house and just grab whatever. My friend's uncle who died a few years back left all his stuff there and was a HUGE collector of movie and sports stuff. I grabbed a bunch of old books, cooking wear, movie memorabilia and whatnot. We found a sealed 1978 Star Wars calendar still in it's cardboard mailing package, so that's getting on ebay. But, I found two sets of five reels of 16mm film. One is of "The World According to Garp" with Robin Williams from 1982. The other is "Gentleman Jim", a 1942 Errol Flynn movie. I wanna sell these because I think they'd fetch a decent price, but aside from Ebay I dunno where else to look for someone who buys this stuff. Any ideas? |

If your bandmates are hardcore Habs fans, I got a bunch of old school posters from the 70s of classic Habs legends when they were actually playing. I was actually looking for snuff or porn in those films, but again, no dice. |
