Lenovos are IBMs and you are going to spend 1/3-1/2 more for a lenovo. if money wasn't an option, I would get a lenovo w700 or w700ds. My IBM was more solidly built than any Dell. I would stay away from hp/compaq or gateway. Toshiba's are "ok" but slower. Sony's are awesome, light with the latest technologies... but they break easy. |

I had my first Dell laptop for almost 6 years, and it'd still work now had I not broken the screen. I now have an Inspiron 1525 and I love it. The worst part of Dell is the customer service, they're all outsourced and a total nightmare, other than that, I've never had problems. |
