They're feeling bad about it after the fact, and are looking to claim a forfeit on the game. According to the article they were up 57-0 at the half, but continued to full court press and shoot 3 pointers well into the bottom part of the 4th quarter. I don't know what's more baffling... That a basketball team can truly manage 0 points for an entire regulation game? That a team would really have the nerve to keep sticking it to their opponent with a 57 point lead? That a team with a 100 point margin of victory would want to claim a loss on the game? Or that a girl's basketball team was capable of scoring 100 points under ANY circumstances? [img] |
