The money from one or both "bailouts" would have been better used by whiping out comsumer debt so people could spend money on goods and services instead of paying off all their debt. This would effectively stimulate more spending, curb job loss and create more opportunity for people to refinance their homes to avoid forclosure. Instead we inject this now worthless but uncomprehendable amount of cash into a banking system led by crooks who are just gonna misapproprioate the funds anyways. I see absolute no way how this bill will have any positive effects on our country's current situation. The worst part is none of the senators even read the goddamn thing. [/QUOTE]
