That Folder is 1.89TB right now. I started running a "remove duplicates" program called Clone Master. Started it at 6pm last night and it's still not done. It found 175K duplicates thus far. I'm going to remove all her dups and organize it. Hopefully it will all fit on a 1.5TB drive so that I can give it to her and she can organize it more herself. Then I will spread it out over pairs of 500GB and 1TB drives. Once that is done, I will hook the pairs to an old laptop and share one of the pairs so that she can copy things to/from it on her network. in the background, I will nightly mirror additions and then monthly sync deletes/updates. (so that a virus doesn't wipe out both drives) |
