______________________________________ [Jun 3,2009 11:55am - the_reverend ""] I really need to use meritline more. I see their deals all the time. ridiculous. those prices are "ok". I just ebay'd and got 200 of them for $50 (free s/h). That's $.25 each which I guess I can live with. I'm getting so many digital-only downloads from all the labels now. hard to keep up without something like this. |

A friend of mine who recently quit doing his radio show after about ten years told me "Blogspots are the new college radio." His station didn't have much wattage and therefore not too many listeners, so the first access to new music (advances/promos) became his primary motivation for doing his show... How right he is. The "industry" is definitely changing but I don't know if digital-only downloads from labels / promotion companies is a sign of the times or a last gasp. |
