I LOVVVEEE the live search in every window. And the one in the start menu. Whenever i see someone trying to find a program in their start menu and moving their mouse up and down and opening menus here and there i laugh inside. Just fucking type what you're looking for. Even just 1 letter....you'll find it. I could imagine that indexing on your drobo might make most computers cry though. |

Well.. if you're talking about searching through files that is. Try searching for text files with particular words or phrases in the file in Vista, you'll shoot yourself in the face. When I was running Vista I downloaded Agent Ransack which was a good freebe replacement. |

It looks like you can force it to search within files for a specific search but only after that search failed to turn up what you're looking for. Or you go to Search Tools>Search Options and turn it on. In xp i think you're basically fucked |
