_________________________________________ [Apr 16,2010 1:30pm - TheRidersofDoom ""] "I would think Europe was probably experiencing its greatest disruption to air travel since 9/11," a spokesman for the U.K.'s Civil Aviation Authority told Reuters. "In terms of closure of airspace, this is worse than after 9/11." |

__________________________________________ [Apr 19,2010 11:15am - TheRidersofDoom ""] This is interesting, all Three times in recorded history that this volcano has gone off Katla, a much bigger volcano, has gone off within the same year. It's about 8 miles away and I guess seismic activity is picking up in iceland in the area. How awesome would it be to have a third go off in the same year. I'd be booking a flight to Iceland next spring for epic landscapes. They are saying if Katla goes it will be ten times stronger than this one. which means nothing because this one is mostly Ash problems and melting water. |
