_______________________________ [Sep 27,2010 9:17am - mutis ""] That sounds way good. Though of course I'm envisioning it with seitan. I concocted something really tasty the night before last. Chop up a couple cloves of garlic, throw it in with oh, say 1/3rd cup of watered down tamari or some braggs liquid aminos, a couple tablespoons of nutritional yeast or brewers yeast (not active yeast, you douche), a tablespoon of maple syrup, something hot like cayenne, though I used chili paste. Mix. Deep fry some seitan for 2-3 minutes at 250º, let it cool for a minute, then toss it in tupperware with the above mixture until evenly coated. I boiled some rice then threw it in a wok with some vegetables, and served the seitan on top of that. I suppose it could work with ribs or something too. |
