Surprised I haven't gotten around to it earlier, as Orwellian Dystopian science fiction happens to be a favorite of mine. Just finished In the Shadows of the White Mountains a collection of odd tales about Northern NH, witches, civil war battles in the sky, cursed waters, and hermits. Soon to be moving onto to some James Fennimore Cooper, not sure what as I picked up five of his novels for 10 bucks at the used books store. He wrote Last of the Mohicans for those who are unfamiliar with the name. What you all reading? |

Next up is "Aghora - at the left hand of god", a neat little Hindu-related novel that's been sitting in my room for some time, and probably a shitload of Jules Verne at the same time, as usual. That, plus entertaining myself with the great many books that try to explain existentialism using only tiny out-of-context passages. |
