The follow up to the band's heralded Remission album, Leviathan was recorded at both Robert Lang Studios (NIRVANA, BAD COMPANY, FOO FIGHTERS) and Litho Studios (DEFTONES, SOUNDGARDEN) in Seattle with producer Matt Bayles. Based in part on Herman Melville's classic novel Moby Dick, MASTODON's Leviathan is slated for an August 31st U.S. release date and a September 13th European release date via Relapse.
