_______________________________________ [May 19,2004 12:54pm - the_reverend ""] compared to the other stuff the production is excellent. the drums sound much better though they might be a touch too loud. Sounds a little borknagar-ish. A lot of the purist might not like it because of that. I've heard a lot of people being anti-4th gen black metal, but I like the last borknagar release. when the vocals start, it took me a few seconds to get use to it. I guess I wasn't expecting them to sound like that though I like the bard-singing parts (like kruixis). the synth and the over-all stucture is great and I like the direction you guys are going. |

The synth parts were great and the whole track holds together quite well. I still think Pan.. is one of the greatest black metal songs ever penned on this soil. I'll be sure to mail Matthew some cash for this release! |

________________________________________________ [May 21,2004 12:55am - coldnorthernvengeance ""] Thanks to everyone who likes our new stuff... At the present CNV is a recording project. Hopefully we can get some more like minded individuals to join the ranks but for now it's still a project... Cheers!!! |

Definately has an epic dreamy cold atmosphere which is something that most new england bands lack. The synths & some of the riffs remind me of Enslaved's Frost. The guitar harmonies are well thought out and remind me of Dissection to an extent. I have a feeling that it could be a little tighter and more moving if it was rehearsed a little more thoroughly but this is understandably difficult for a recording project. Where are you located in New Hampshire? |

If you listen to it on a good stereo it's pretty damn good for what we used to record it... I dunno, this is Cult Black Metal not Cradle of Cunt... Dungeoncult@aol.com |
