The act of swallowing creates pressure in that area, forcing these things in. This is exactly the same smell as what you'd get from flossing a hefty chunk out, but stronger because it's significantly larger. There's really not much that can be done about them, besides having your tonsils removed, and being hypervigilant about when it does happen / removing them quickly. |
