I clicked that link above with the full album. The keyboard intro sounded really cool, but the music just sounded like radio rock to me.
Of course it sounds like radio rock, you guys are aware that this was an existing Swedish POP band before they put on scary masks and decided to play "metal"? No, of course not. You all see this information as irrelevant, since thinking about a band's motivations behind how and why they make their music could lead towards the examination of your own motivations for supposedly liking and listening to "metal." And sooner or later, a lot of you are going to wake up, look in the mirror and realize you don't give too shits about metal, deep down you only care about trying to follow all the really cool trends, just like everybody else.
reliable sources say that the singer for Ghost is also the singer/guitarist for Repugnant. that said, I'll happily call myself a poser/hipster/whatever if that makes you happy. I don't care! I'll just continue to listen to metal and pop and everything else that makes me happy. I'll also continue to go to shows that supposedly have metal bands playing. Also Ghost was frickin fun at this show! I sang at the top of my voice along with Elizabeth. I screamed along with the crowd when they played the first riffs of Ritual. I even harmonized along with Here Comes The Sun! Fuck yeah!
