They really had their own sound and I found them really refreshing. But since "As The Palaces Burn" they've been a The Haunted/Pantera mash-up at best. It's like they started playing down to all the american metal-core bands they broke out with. First time I ever thought a band ruined themselves with over-production, esp the vocals. Also, they fell in love with that European noodley guitar turnaround and all their good ideas were forever buried. |
