the WAG was very very weird... there were a bunch of rooms that were abandoned that I took pictures of. then after getting creeped out, I went and the room where the bands were going to play in had tons and tons of naked people. definitly an interesting place.

(it's young harry potter's brithday and he's getting no gifts)

codes: I was a little busy playing with my camera to really pay attentio to their set... but it was 1/2 of group hug and chris (the hostage heart).

(harry gets some gift from his friends BY OWL!)

manx: reminded me of a softer anodyne. all three members sang too just like with ed gein.

(muggles, guess who's coming to dinner? auntie marge! and we hate her so much...)

the heuristic: the get better each time I see them.. this being 2 times. I like what I review them as last time, but there's something else.. like.. a dirty metal influence.

(auntie got wicked wicked drunk... and said such horrible things about harry's dead parents. so he veruca salt'd her!)

akela: there was a bunch of video cameras in the audience. pretty good grindy hardcore. the singer makes some of the funniest faces.

(harry takes off out of the place and is left allone on the street. he ends up catching the knight's bus to london)

as long as were all living were all dying: quite a different scene for them. they sounded pretty clear in this place.

(harry learns a lot about the "prisoner", black)

echelon: their last show, probably. the singer still sings so weird... though just like with the time, I got use to it pretty quickly.

(harry has tons of fun staying in a hotel in london)

homesick for space: I wasn't really feeling them. it was a little too emo for me. they had a keyboard player too.

dude i love the pictures of me on top of mike. and the rest are really good! thank you so much, i hope you had no problem getting in for free. i saw that harry potter movie that you are reading, it pretty much that cut and dry!

This was easily one of the worst sets we've ever played. sloptastic. I was pretty bummed out. but oh well, at least we got to have a band practice before the show tonight.

yo george, what style is The Heuristic? and what the hell is that Honer??
 ________________________________
[Jun 20,2004 3:23am - George ""]
apparently the honer was custom made for some dingle berry who listens to jam bands, hense the star inlays and tacky tacky wood color.
but it has passive emgs and a floyd rose(which was later locked)
??????
dont ask, i have no idea. it was a birthday present from a friend who bought it from another friend a long time ago. i just kind of needed a guitar that sounded good and i wouldn't stress about breaking.

click here if you want to hear mp3's. mathy grind i guess. not very death metal at all, we're just kind of weird.

All these shows are always too far away for me to go to. Fitchburg/Leomonster/Lunenburg has shitty poser punk bands and very few metal bands, and all the metal ones play shit either like linkin park or metallica. Blah.

Fucking a. I need to start a death grind band.

The WAG is such a cool place. There's always lots of art and photography on display.

Codes: Their songs were all over the place and nothing really stood out, it was boring. They were mad to be the first band. The drummer was wicked good though.
Manx: They were alright. Nothing too exciting for me. Their drummer had an interesting bass drum.
The Heuristic: These kids were crazy! First time seeing them and was pretty impressed. Grind with songs that aren't 10 seconds long like a lot of bands are doing. Definitely fun band to wacth, great stage presence. Those handstands the bass player was doing were impressive.
Akela: Probably one of the coolest bands in Worcester right now. Technical thrash with an amazing drummer. Get better everytime I see them. These guys don't have a lot of or hardly any chugga cheesy breakdowns either. Their new split cd is good too. I think Akela and The Heuristic were at a tie for most crowd movement.
As Long As We're All Living We're All Dying: I saw these guys like a year ago with more members. Now down to a two piece, it seems they've gotten better with less members.
Echelon: Last show for these Worcester natives. They were sloppy as all hell but they looked like they were hving a great time which is the point of being in a band. A good amount of people stook around to send these boys off. RIP Echelon.

thanks for actually getting it salty, you know, we practiced once in 3 months with our drummer, and that was the day before the show. We knew we'd be sloppy, but we put our hearts into that last show, and I'm proud of it. so thank you for putting energy over tightness.
