The single will be available via iTunes tomorrow, Wednesday, June 13. Baroness premiered the album's first single, "Take My Bones Away," in mid-May with the song currently available via iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/take-my-bones-away-single/id524460713). The band recently shared a behind-the-scene clip featuring live footage from the band's recent North American tour as well as insight into the recording for the new album. Their second album was pretty mih, but when I saw them play it in entirety back in late 2010 it was surprisingly amazing live. As for the new stuff, based purely off "Take My Bones Away", it'll probably be a painfully mediocre album - but then again, out of eighteen songs, i'm sure there will be at least a few standout tracks. Take My Bones Away just isn't one of them. haha |

The first two EP's were terrible, just a wannabe Mastodon. Red was decent, Blue was getting better, with more dance beats and electronic influence, but this new album is just off the chart awesome. |
