Her son died 4 days before christmas.[/QUOTE] i dunno man, i can see if he was a close friend or his band was actually from the area/part of the scene and his family needed money to cover memorial costs or whatever and the fest was partly about that. but it's not. it just seems like faux-sentimental bullshit and high school hero worship to me. if i were a more cynical person i'd say it almost seems like he's cashing in on the dude's name to promote his fest, but i'll leave it at faux-sentimental bullshit.
