I'm glad it took 600 posts of you clowns debating movie times to get to someone actually discussing the film. There's a lot to criticize, but overall I was happy. 1. The film is very LOTR-4 after-though-ish. It has the same production design, and basically the exact same score as all 3 of the LOTR's. 2. Forced "LOL Radagast is t3h dRugz0rs" pipe smoking scene. Was that really the time for comic relief? 3. The voice of the Goblin King was Dame Edna. 4. What the hell was with that awkward video-game-y button mashing scene where they escape from the goblin kingdom? 5. Film tries way to hard to cram Dwarfy McDreamy in there and yeah Kili and Fili don't even look like dwarves. 6. Just like in LOTR the dialog goes to shit real easily (RE: Tolkien puking in his grave over "Let's hunt some orc!"). 7. I'll say it again because it's worth saying twice: I wish they could have found a way to make this it's own movie and not just another LOTR. It's like Peter Jackson only knows how to make 1 movie that isn't Meet the Feebles, and is content to make it 6 times in a row now. Criticisms aplenty but not the "biggest letdown of all time."
