as a person traveling from Canada to the US with a valid Canadian and European passport...i don't get it...
i'm now a legal alien and live here but before that i've traveled in and out of the states freely....never showing my european passport, just the Canadian one...i've been granted a bunch of temporary Visas...i really don't get this
i want to know why these people are getting denied...especially since they are Canadian and the US customs are supposed to be "nicer" to them....ah the stories i could tell about customs..but im stopping here

Customs suck. Bottom line.
I'm pretty lucky though, I can go in Europe throught the E.C. member lane without any search or stop.
I can go through the US custom through the US citizens lane (even though I'm not) and that's easy for them cause my card has a freaking bar code on it...so they get all my info in 1 second.
I can go to Canada and let Dropdead go with tons of merch just because I can speak French with those fuckers.

for an american to get a passport is easy....
for a NO US person to get a Visa..that is where some people are having issues
i am still going to call Customs tomorrow...i have had to deal with them a lot and brought a shit load of things through no issues

they got to the boarder with all the information that they needed. when they did, the boarder guard asked them for visas. they said they were just playing a benefit show and not making any money. they looked at the ocean state percussion web site and decided that someone is making money from the show and that cryptopsy would need visas.
osp tried faxing tons of papers n stuff, but nothing worked.
