8TB drives[views:1080][posts:6]_______________________________________ [Apr 13,2016 12:45pm - the_reverend ""] I got one 2 days ago.. and I'm getting a second one today. My drobo will now have 2x8TB, 1x4TB, and 2x6TB. The bad thing is that I have to move 15.76TB of data off the Drobo to a back up, format the Drobo and then move everything back onto it. It's going to take forever. |

_______________________________________ [Apr 25,2016 10:45pm - The_reverend ""] I have a NAS (qnap), but it's slow and old. RAID 5/6 is tough to upgrade. The Drobos you can put in whatever sided drives you want. Unfortunately, I formatted mine when it only went up to 16TB and not 64TB. So I got 2x8TB drives. I'm backing up everything to a new location and then formatting my drobo. Almost done. |
