XY you say you like research, nearly all the research on this says that conversion therapy doesn't work and puts those undergoing it at a very high risk for suicide. If you had a loved one who was trans you would not advocate such a thing for them. And research shows much better outcomes for people who instead do therapy and then undergo whatever degree of transition they are most comfortable with. Many people can live healthy and happy lives in the new gender identity. So please look into that stuff before you go spouting off ideas about what you think is best for trans people when you aren't one yourself and don't really seem to know much about it.[/QUOTE]
