___________________________________________ [Nov 20,2014 12:26pm - largefreakatzero ""] Great opportunity for this band. I'll just leave this bio right here (tl;dr): Powerful riffs, unforgettable lyrics, originality, energy and passion are just a few words to describe Still Well Angel, a hard rock/metal band from the Boston area. They have taken their personalities and created one power group. Music is their drive; they dream it, eat it and live it. They put their hearts into every song they write and every performance they give. In 1999 identical twins Sean and Stephen and collage friend Kevin Fisher created Still Well Angel. They began playing shows, recording and competing in Battles of the Bands. In 2000 Still Well Angel had their radio debut when Boston local station Rock 101 began playing the bands first single “Proof”. Requests came pouring in. The band continued performing at local clubs and local festivals, like Hempfest and Laconia Bike Week. In February 2002 Still Well Angel recorded their second single "Dream" another local radio hit. Then in 2005 they won New Hampshire Technical Institute’s Battle of the Bands and were awarded “Best Local Band” of 2005. Their local status continued to grow leading the band to share the stage with national recording artists Powerman 5000, Ra, Adema, The Misfits, Nonpoint, Nullset, Tantric, Dr. Chud’s X-Ward, Sardonica (two Misfits’ by-products), Trash Light Vision (featuring Acey Slade of Murderdolls and DOPE) and Virginia’s Bella Morte. Then in October 2009, after a short hiatus, Still Well Angel headed back to the studio to record a six song EP, a preview of their debut album “The Khaos” set to be released in late 2013. In February 2011 they released their EP, with great success, as they returned to the big stage with Hinder and Saving Abel. They toured the New England scene promoting their EP. That summer they shared the stage with national artists, Candlebox, Alterbridge, and Theory of a Deadman. In the fall of 2011, to help promote their upcoming Halloween show with Hed PE, the guys did a meet and greet with fans plus an interview with CNEU Rock Radio and became “Band of the Month” on CNEU. Still Well Angel has also supported local charities when given the opportunity. On March 5th 2011 Still Well Angel joined with KROCKS who teamed up with the Kiwanis Club of Manchester. The band donated their equipment and on stage performing knowledge to help raise money and music performance to students in a battle of the bands. All money raised was donated to local nonprofit youth organizations. Then April 2011 they teamed up with Stop the Bleeding an organization that raises money for under-funded shelters of all kinds - homeless shelters, battered women shelters, and any organizations providing support for the homeless. A Tribute to the Homeless 7 was a great success. 100% of the proceeds were donated to the Bread and Jams Day Center, a soup kitchen and homeless help center in Cambridge. The two teamed up again in September for the Rock Show 9, a great success. 100% of the proceeds from this show were donated to the Matta Home, a shelter for homeless veterans in Brockton. In May 2011 Still Well Angel performed at Woofstock, a charity music festival put on by White Mountain Foster & Rescue, a non-profit organization which saves and places dogs and puppies in forever homes. In August of 2012 the band headed to Vermont, Ma for Hungerfest to help Raise Money for the fall mountain food Shelf. The concert was a complete success and they were invited to come back next year. They then joined with New England Concerts for the 1st Annual Merrimack Valley Music Festival this festival which showcased some of the best original rock and metal bands from the Merrimack Valley. A portion of the money from each ticket sold was donated to National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. That next month in September they signed a 2 year contract with Sweet Sounds Music and Management along with a worldwide distribution for their 4 song EP that is being released by Republic/Sweetsounds digitally worldwide. As the holidays approached on the 20th of November they paired up again with “Stop the Bleeding” for another charity event in Boston to help raise money for the Nashua Soup Kitchen for Thanksgiving. On Tuesday Jan 8, 2013 There EP “Kalm Befor the Khaos” was released on Itunes USA, Japan, Canada, Asia, Australia and became available at Emusic and Iheart Radio. Around Xmas time of 2012 SWA and CNEU rock radio joined together for “Metal for Tots” collecting toys for the “Toys for Tots” program and donated some of their SWA T-shirts for a Online Auction and Fundraising Charity for Hurricane Sandy Relief,. During their December concerts the also shared the stage with 90’s metal/punk band Green Jello. In mid January there were nominated for a Cidar Award for “Best band outside the VT and NH area.” Along with winning “Band of the Year” from CNEU Radio. With their powerful live performance has brought Still Well Angel much success over the last 13 years. There is no stopping this band from going to the top. |

______________________________________ [Nov 21,2014 11:18am - dress code ""] The real question is, what fine club attire are you wearing to pass the dress code at the warner bros dicksuck audition? This is event is for a select few artists and Dress code for this event will be strictly enforced, upscale nightclub attire only: no tennis shoes, hats, t-shirts, hooded sweaters, gangster apparel, or sportswear will be tolerated. This is also a "RED CARPET EVENT" with media coverage and we have limited tickets for this event and need all to arrive at.3:45pm (Please allow an extra 15 minutes for parking and admission). Bill Millman of Warner Bros. Records will be there to watch us perform along with a private 1 on 1 meeting afterwards to talk about our performance. Its very important that we get as many Friends, Family, and fans at this event to cheer us on and help make this showcase a chance for SWA to get signed. [img] |
